Hello world!

Welcome to WordPress. My name is Tom Schwartz, and I became an author at the age of 70.  I have written 6 stories spanning 3 genres; children’s, sci-fi, and mystery/suspense’s.

Writing was the fun part, finding a publisher was an entirely different story (ha-ha).  It took me a year of intensive searching before I found my first publisher, who went bust just as my children’s book was printed.. During this time I started visiting the elementary schools as a guest author, and needed another publisher to enable the schools and children to obtain the book.  It took me another two years to find one.   Reagent Press is my publisher, and I am delighted working with them.

Tom is a terrific author! I am delighted to help bring Tom’s books to the world. Tom’s first book with Reagent Press, How Mother Nature Flowered the Fields, is being translated into several languages and is available in trade paperback, premium trade, audio, and digital editions.

Thank you Jeannie. The goal of the Mother Nature stories was to reach out to the children about the implortance of protecting the environment. This book was endorsed by the Superintendent of Public Schools, Brevard County, FL.

Reagent Press recently published my second book, which is an adult suspense story. “Wrongly Accused,” is about Jack Shepherd, who is mistaken for an underworld drug dealer and sent to prison because of two lying detectives. Jack’s lawyers uncover the facts and Jack is exonerated.
There are two follow-on stories, one dealing with terrorism and the other a brain transplant.
